Learn How to Share the Gospel
In all four Gospels, Jesus commanded: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
To share the gospel clearly, we must learn to tell our story [Learn how here] and understand and communicate four essential truths found in Scripture.
1. God is holy and created us for relationship with Him
God created humanity to know Him, love Him, and live under His good authority (Genesis 1–2).
2. Sin has separated us from God
All people have sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness, resulting in separation from Him and spiritual death (Romans 3:23).
3. Jesus Christ is God’s provision for our sin
Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again so that forgiveness and new life are possible (Romans 5:8; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4).
4. We respond through repentance and faith
The gospel calls each person to turn from sin and trust in Jesus Christ alone for salvation (Mark 1:15; Ephesians 2:8–9).
Sharing the gospel means lovingly and truthfully explaining these realities and inviting others to respond to Jesus Christ. Learning to share how God has done great things in your life creates a natural bridge to connect faith and action.
