Who Is Jesus?
Jesus Christ is not merely a religious teacher or moral example. He is the Son of God, sent into the world to reveal God, rescue sinners, and restore broken people to a right relationship with Him.
“The Word became flesh and took up residence among us.” ~John 1:14
Jesus lived a sinless life, taught with divine authority, performed miracles, and willingly gave His life on the cross. He rose from the dead, proving that He has power over sin, death, and eternity.
“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.” ~John 11:25
Do All People Need Jesus?
Why do I need JEsus?
The Bible teaches that all people have sinned – not just in actions, but in heart and nature. Sin separates us from God and leaves us spiritually dead.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” ~Romans 3:23
“But your iniquities are separating you from your God.” ~Isaiah 59:2
No amount of good works, religion, or effort can remove guilt or repair this separation.
The Gospel is For You.
What Is the Gospel?
The word gospel means “good news.”
Here is that good news:

God loves you.
-
Sin separates you from Him.
-
Jesus took your place.
-
Forgiveness is offered freely.
“For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.” ~John 3:16
“But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” ~Romans 5:8
Jesus bore the judgment for sin so that forgiveness could be offered as a gift.
Trust Christ for Salvation?
How does Salvation work?
Salvation is not earned. It is received.
“For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God’s gift – not from works, so that no one can boast.”
~Ephesians 2:8–9
When a person turns from sin and trusts in Jesus Christ, God forgives them, gives them new life, and makes them His own.
“If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away, and look, new things have come.”
~2 Corinthians 5:17
"Believe" in Jesus?
What Does It Mean to Believe in Jesus?
Belief is more than agreement with facts. It is trust and surrender.
“If you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.” ~Romans 10:9
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
~Romans 10:13
To believe is to stop trusting yourself and place your confidence fully in Christ.

A Prayer to Receive Christ as Savior
If you recognize your need for forgiveness and want to trust Jesus, you may pray something like this:
God, I know that I am a sinner and cannot save myself.
I believe that Jesus Christ is Your Son, that He died for my sins, and that He rose again.I turn from my sin and place my trust in Jesus alone. Forgive me, give me new life, and help me follow You from this day forward.
Thank You for saving me.
