He restores my soul. (Psalm 23:3)
I will restore to you the years the locusts have eaten. (Joel 2:25)
When something breaks beyond what you think can be fixed, it’s easy to assume it’s finished. You may look at your life—your mistakes, your scars, your history—and think, “There’s no way this can be made whole again.”
But our God is a Grace-filled Restorer.
Restoration doesn’t mean pretending the damage didn’t happen. It means God steps into the wreckage and begins rebuilding. He doesn’t just patch cracks—He renews from the inside out. What sin distorted, what grief shattered, what shame tried to erase—grace begins to reclaim.
The enemy says you’re beyond repair but God says you’re not finished and the cross proves it. Resurrection proves it. And your story isn’t over yet.
He specializes in redemption. He takes ashes and makes beauty. He takes ruins and raises something stronger than before.
Restoration (Psalm 23:3) is the act of the Shepherd rebuilding what sin has shattered. Where in your history have you stopped asking God for restoration because you’ve decided the damage is too "final"? In what way does the reality of the Resurrection (life out of death) challenge your belief that you are beyond repair?
Father, I feel broken in places I don’t know how to fix. But You are the God who restores. Step into the pieces of my life and rebuild what’s been lost. Heal what’s wounded. Redeem what’s wasted. And breathe new life where I see only damage. I trust You with my restoration. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
