Baptism of the Spirit: Empowered for New Life

“For John baptized with water, but in a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 1:5) “You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses…” (Acts 1:8)
Salvation gives us new life. The baptism of the Holy Spirit empowers that life with fire, boldness, and supernatural strength. It’s more than an experience—it’s the outpouring of God’s very presence within us.
The Spirit’s baptism happens when a person is born again. He fills us not just to feel His presence—but to live with purpose and walk in power. It brings spiritual gifts, divine direction, and courage to speak the Gospel. It’s how ordinary people do extraordinary things in Jesus’ name.
God never intended you to live this life in your own strength. He gives you His Spirit—to comfort, to guide, and to equip. Just like fire transforms whatever it touches, the Holy Spirit transforms everyone He fills.
Don’t settle for a dry faith. And walk in the power of the Spirit today.

Holy Spirit, I welcome You. I don’t want to live in my own strength—I want to live in Yours. Fill every corner of my heart. Empower me to speak with boldness, love with power, and live with joy. Use me for Your kingdom and lead me by Your voice.
Thank You for dwelling in me. I surrender to Your work in my life.
