“Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4) “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness…” (2 Timothy 3:16) The Bible is more than a book—it’s spiritual nourishment. Just as the body needs food, your soul needs the Word of God. Without it, faith starves. With it, faith grows strong. Reading the Bible isn't about checking a box—it’s about hearing your Father’s voice. In its pages are promises to hold, wisdom to follow, correction to receive, and hope to cling to. Scripture strengthens us, centers us, and shapes us to look more like Christ. The enemy would love for you to stay too busy, too distracted, or too discouraged to open your Bible. But every time you do, you take ground. You gain clarity. You grow deeper. So open it daily. Feed your soul. Let the living Word lead your life! You wouldn’t neglect to feed your body and you cannot neglect your spiritual food either–you need both for life. 🙏 Prayer: A Prayer for a Heart Anchored in the Word Lord, Thank You for giving me Your Word. Forgive me when I neglect it or treat it lightly. Give me a hunger for Scripture—a desire to know You more through every page. Help me not just to read it, but to live it. Let it correct me, guide me, and shape me. Make Your Word the foundation of my day and the compass of my heart. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
