6-04 Washed in the Blood: Cleansed, Covered, and Made New

“But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.” (1 John 1:7) “To Him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by His blood…” (Revelation 1:5) The blood of Jesus isn’t just a symbol—it’s the power of your salvation. It cleanses what sin has stained, covers what guilt has exposed, and declares you forgiven, free, and fully accepted before God. From Genesis to Revelation, the blood has always been God’s way of making peace between Himself and His people. But no lamb or offering could do what Christ did. On the cross, He shed His blood once for all—a perfect sacrifice that makes sinners clean and saints confident. You don’t need to carry shame. You don’t need to wonder if you’re enough. The blood has spoken—it says “forgiven,” “redeemed,” and “clean.” Not because of who you are, but because of what He has done. So walk today in that confidence: You’ve been washed. 🙏 Prayer: A Prayer of Gratitude for the Blood of Jesus Jesus, Thank You for shedding Your blood for me. I could never earn this kind of love—but You gave it freely. Wash me again in Your mercy. Let me walk in the freedom, purity, and confidence that comes from knowing I am cleansed. Help me never take lightly the price You paid. My past is forgiven, my soul is clean, and I belong to You. In Your name, Amen.
