5-20📖 A Friend Who Sticks Closer Than a Brother

Loneliness can creep in even in a crowded room. People may leave, disappoint, or forget—but Jesus never will. He is more than Savior—He is the truest Friend you’ll ever have.

“A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother.” (Proverbs 18:24) “Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you.” (Hebrews 13:5)

Jesus doesn’t walk away when things get hard. He doesn't love you less on your worst day. He doesn’t just show up when you’re strong—He draws near when you’re broken. His friendship is steady, loyal, and full of grace.

When everyone else is too busy, too distant, or too disappointed—He’s still there. And not only is He with you, but He also understands you completely. He knows every fear, every tear, every thought—and still calls you friend.

You’re not walking through life alone. You’re walking with One who sticks closer than a brother.

🙏 Prayer: A Prayer of Gratitude for the Faithful Friend

Jesus, Thank You for being the Friend who never leaves. When others fall away, You remain. When I feel unseen, You see me. When I feel unloved, You remind me that I’m Yours.

Help me lean on Your presence and trust Your heart. Teach me to be a friend to others the way You’ve been to me—faithful, present, and full of grace.

I’m never alone, because You walk with me.

In Your name,

 Amen.
