Waiting on God can feel like standing in the dark, wondering if He hears, if He sees, if He’ll come through. But Scripture reminds us—God is never late. His timing is not always ours, but it is always perfect.
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you…” (2 Peter 3:9) “At the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” (Galatians 6:9)
From Abraham and Sarah to Mary and Martha, God's people have wrestled with delay—but they’ve also seen His faithfulness. He may not answer on our schedule, but He always shows up right when it's needed most, in a way that reveals His glory.
God’s delays are not His denials. They are preparation, protection, or positioning for something greater. While we’re anxious about the clock, He’s aligning hearts, circumstances, and outcomes with eternal purpose.
So trust Him. Even if the midnight hour has come and gone—He’s never early, never late. Always right on time.
🙏 Prayer: A Prayer for Trusting God’s Timing
Lord, You know I get anxious when answers don’t come quickly. But You are never late. Help me trust Your timing—even when I don’t understand it.
Teach me to wait with faith, not fear. Remind me that You are working in the waiting. And when You show up, it’s always exactly when I need You.
Thank You for being faithful in every season—right on time, every time.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
