The Christian life isnât just about dutyâitâs filled with joy. When we step into new life in Christ, we arenât just cleansed; we are changed, and with that change comes deep, abiding joy that the world canât offer or take away.
âYou have made known to me the paths of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence.â (Acts 2:28) âThough you have not seen him, you love him⊠and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy.â (1 Peter 1:8)
The joy of the new life isnât based on perfect circumstances. Itâs rooted in a perfect Savior. It's the joy of being forgiven, of being known and still loved, of waking up every day with purpose and peace.
This joy doesnât deny hardshipâit transcends it. Itâs the kind of joy that sings in prison cells, smiles through tears, and walks forward in hope when the road is hard. Why? Because Jesus is aliveâand we are alive in Him.
So rejoice today. Youâve been made new. And thatâs reason enough to celebrate.
đ Prayer: A Prayer to Rejoice in New Life
Lord Jesus, Thank You for the joy that comes with new life in You. When the world weighs heavy, remind me of the freedom, hope, and joy Youâve given me through salvation.
Let that joy rise in my heart todayânot based on how I feel, but on who You are. Fill me with the kind of joy that overflows and touches the lives around me.
I am new, I am Yours, and I rejoice in that truth.
In Your name,
 Amen.
