He Remembers You With Mercy

Lamentations 3:22–23 (HCSB)

“Because of the Lord’s faithful love we do not perish, for His mercies never end. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness!”

There are mornings when guilt wakes up before you do. When yesterday’s failures sit heavy on your chest before your feet hit the floor. But God’s mercy isn’t rationed by your performance. It renews every single morning—not because you’ve earned it, but because He’s faithful.

God’s mercy isn’t running on fumes. It doesn’t get tired of your repeated struggles. It doesn’t grow cold when your passion fades. His mercy is loyal, consistent, and endless. And today—just like every day before—it’s meeting you before you even ask.

You may feel like you’re too much, too inconsistent, or too messy. But His mercy is the steady thing in your story. You are not consumed, because He is compassionate. You are not disqualified, because His love won’t let go. So take the next step, not in shame—but in mercy-soaked trust. His faithfulness is greater than your fall.

Pray:

Father, thank You for mercy that meets me again today. When I fall short, You remain faithful. When I run low, You refill me with compassion. Help me receive this fresh grace and walk in it—not with fear, but with confidence in Your unchanging love. Amen.

Reflection Questions:

What mistakes or regrets are trying to define your day today?

How can you choose to receive God’s fresh mercy this morning instead of shame?
